Instructions for use:
For best results use as a gentle body polish in the shower. Wash off and pat dry with a towel. In the cooler months our body polishes can set firmly in the pots due to all the nourishing cocoa butter that we add into our mix. Scoop out with a spoon or stand in warm water to soften before showering. Not for use on the face. External use only. Store in a cool dark place.

Here’s what we blend into our lovely product:

Sea Salt contains a variety minerals and nutrients that benefit our bodies, particularly our skin. It can transform an otherwise ordinary bath into a powerful tonic which nourishes, invigorates and detoxifies. Sea salt is an incredibly effective exfoliator it gently cleanses pores and helps slough off dead skin, revealing the softer, healthier skin underneath. Exfoliation is a must for healthy, attractive skin. Dead skin cells typically cover our bodies, as skin cells die and are reborn constantly. This lifeless outer layer can give your skin a dull, lifeless appearance and can even make us look older by accentuating the cracks on the skin’s surface. When you exfoliate, you remove the outer layers of dead epidermis (skill) cells. People use a variety of exfoliation techniques but our favourite is to use sea salt in our body polishes. As you gently scrub, your skin becomes stimulated as your circulation improves. Your pores open and are ready to absorb all the wonderful minerals and nutrients.

Avocado Oil contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, beta carotene as well as collagen-boosting plant sterolins . It is a monosaturated oil making it nourishing and suitable for dehydrated, sun exposed and dry skin. It is known to have regenerative and rejuvenating properties; it significantly increases the amount of collagen in the skin and is especially useful for mature skin. It has been known to be effective in helping reduce the itchiness and discomfort associated with some skin conditions. Avocado Oil is a cold-pressed, ultra-rich and nutrient dense body oil that is full of vitamins and essential fatty acids beneficial for the skin. This rich green body oil is made from the fresh meat of the avocado and supports the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

Cocoa Butter is made from the seeds of the cacao fruit, which are also used to make chocolate. It is cold-pressed, raw and rich in essential fatty acids, which deeply penetrate dry skin, helping to restore luster and softness. Cocoa butter has a soft, sweet cocoa aroma, and is one of the most stable fats known. It contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity. An excellent moisturizing agent for the skin.

Lavender Essential Oil: The health benefits of lavender essential oil include its ability to eliminate nervous tension, relieve pain, disinfect the skin, enhance blood circulation and treat respiratory problems. The Latin name of lavender is Lavare, which means “to wash”, due to its aroma which has a particularly clean aroma. The fragrance is calming, relaxing and balancing – physically and emotionally.
